Other awardees for 2019 were: The Ohana Association of Weber State University (Youth Moving Mountains Award), Ratsamy Bing Vilaiphanh (Spirit of the Community Award), Feagaiga O Ali'I (Living Treasures Award), and Nepalese Association of Utah (Organization of the Year Award). 

A few individuals from the Japanese American people group of Salt Lake City who have been regarded in the past by OCA Utah are: Judge Raymond Uno, Wat Misaka, Irene Maya Ota, and Edith Mitko. 

Judge Uno was in participation at the occasion as were Utah State Senator Jani Iwamoto and Dr. Karen Kwan, Utah State Representative, who was an author of the OCA Utah Chapter and is Advisor to the Board. 

The Salt Lake JACL Chapter and the Mount Olympus JACL Chapter upheld the occasion by buying tables for the Awards Night. 

Floyd Mori has distributed a book of addresses and articles about the Japanese American and Asian American story. It incorporates realities about the abuse of Japanese Americans during World War II.
